10am:

Depart from your hotel and travel south to Muizenberg Beach to see the fabulous technicolour Bathing Boxes that make for some striking imagery. The Boxes are great photographic subjects and also offer an opportunity for the photo guide to demonstrate a few techniques that you can use throughout the day.

11.30pm:

We head from Muizenberg to Kalk bay where we will walk though this very quaint old holiday town filled with antique shops, galleries, craftsman and vendors shooting as we go. Kalk Bay is a working fishing community filled with brightly coloured boats, some noisy seals and even louder ladies hard at work processing the day’s catch!

Lunch on tour is a normally casual affair so that we dont waste any photographic time. More often than not its delicious fresh fish and chips perched on the harbour wall watching the action in the harbour.

1.00pm:

We make our way through Fish Hoek to Simons town and Boulder’s Beach home to the famous Jackass penguins.

2pm:

We start to make our way over to The Cape of Good Hope nature reserve. Unlike other tours we like to get to Cape Point later in the day when the sun is better positioned for photography. We know a few little spots away from the crowds to get some beautiful images of this iconic landmark.

5pm:

After leaving the nature reserve we start to head back towards Cape Town via the breathtaking Chapman’s Peak Drive. This winding road is cut into the enormous cliff face made of granite and sandstone which by this time is being transformed by the dipping sun. We stop at the top of the drive to take in the view back along the cliffs an forwards to Hout Bay harbour

6pm:

We head back along the Atlantic Seaboard towards Cape Town through Bakoven and Kloof Neck to return to your hotel at approximately 6pm.
