Liza de Villiers – Head Guide

Liza comes from a photographic family and has been taking pictures since she could hold her Dad’s camera. Originally from Johannesburg Liza has been calling Cape Town Home for the last 16 years.

Liza has a passion for showing our clients the best of The Mother City and all the photo opportunities which abound here. She is particularly enthusiastic about the trips that we do down The Garden Route and into the Karoo and has personally designed several of our most popular itineraries and routes.

Jamie Stafford

Jamie was born and raised in Cape Town some say with a camera in her hands! She inherited her love for photography from her Grandfather who in his day travelled the wilds of East Africa with a Box Brownie Camera never far from reach. She enjoys all types of photography but especially landscapes and birding photography. Jamie is a wonderful guide and loves nothing more than to share the beauty and hidden gems of her home towns with local and visitors alike.

Bianca Preusker

Bianca was born in Cape Town, and despite extensive travels in Africa and Europe always finds her way home to the most beautiful city in the world again. A tour guide course completed in 1998 led from an intended holiday job to a life long passion sharing the wild and wonderful faces and places of Africa with guests from around the world. Photography has become a natural extension to exploring different ways of sharing this beauty with others.

Lulama Mahanjana (aka Pizarro)

Lulama lives and works in Imizamo Yethu which is the township we visit on The Township and Winelands Tour. This “character” is on hand to explain to clients all about township life and who-is-who along the way. He will do his best to help you get some amazing images of this unique hillside community. At Cape Town Photo tours we are keen to support the local communities and along with Lulama we have several initiatives that we collaborate on.

Toby Jermyn

Toby is co-owner and director of Cape Town Photo Tours as well as Pangolin Photo Safaris in The Chobe, Botswana. Originally from the UK, Toby has been calling Africa home for the last 15 years and intends to do so for many more to come. When not dreaming up special and unique tours for both companies, he reports for guiding duties and loves the thrill of showing clients around the less trodden parts of his adopted city.
